After Kate Middleton was seen walking across the Buckingham Palace lawn in her favourite black patent wedges, the demand for her L.K. Bennett "Greta" shoes sky-rocketed. The shoes- from the Spring 2010 collection- have been so in demand, in fact, that L.K. Bennett has decided to reissue the style, this time named "Kate". Not available until June, you can put your name on the waiting list for them now.
Although these Steve Madden wedges aren't quite the same- they have a cork wedge rather than braided rope, and a platform- it's still the same look. And how appropriate that they are called "Monarchy"? If you can't wait until June, or don't want to pony up the almost $300 for the real thing, why not grab a pair of these to get the look for less?
