With all eyes on Sarah Burton after the Royal Wedding, the pressure was on to for her to deliver on her promise to bring a new sense of softness and feminine wearability to the collection. It would appear that with her Resort 2012 collection, she is doing just that. The collection, based around the idea of romantic utility, features tailored pants, high-necked blouses, mid-length skirts with ruffled hems, and red carpet red embroidered gowns.
