Red Carpet Trend: Sexy Cut-Outs
Cut-out dresses have been a consistent trend on the red carpet the past few months, with plenty of stars baring skin in unexpected ways. And I expect to see more of this trend as temperatures rise.
Halle Berry is the most recent star to wear the trend, wearing Halston Heritage to attend the FiFi awards, where her fragrance, Pure Orchid, won the Celebrity Fragrance of the Year award. Selena Gomez wore a sexy Dolce & Gabanna number to the Billboard Music Awards, and Karolina Kurkova was in Emilio Pucci for an event in Cannes last month.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the Maxim Hot 100 party in a backless Max Mara dress with side cut-outs, Nicole Richie chose Halston for an Oscar after party, and Emma Watson was in Hakaan for the Elle Style Awards in February.
