Face:
No matter what your skin type, there is a sunscreen for you. If you have normal to dry skin, you need to find one that is moisturizing (and use in place of your usual moisturizer), or use a moisturizer with a high SPF (30+). I like to add a little foundation to mine to create a tinted moisturizer.
If you have oily/combination skin, you can try one of the powder sunscreens on the market. The good thing about these is that some are tinted and all can be worn over your makeup.
Body:
Whether you make your decision based on smell (like me), ease of use, formula, texture, or any other criteria you may use; there is sure to be a sunscreen to fit your needs.
The spray is great for those hard to reach areas, like your back, and when you need a quick touch up. Plus the aerosol can won't spill in your bag, making it great for travel.
Sport and water-resistant formulas are also great, especially at the pool and/or beach, or if you like to exercise outside/play outdoor sports like tennis or volleyball. Just make sure you reapply after towelling off.
There are even ones out now that have a shimmer in them, which can be used instead of body lotion, helping you to stay protected and look good.
Whatever product you choose, be sure to use enough; experts say at least 1 ounce is needed to properly protect exposed skin- that's a shot glass full. And don't forget about those commonly missed spots like the back of your neck, top of your ears, feet (top and bottom), lips, and head (wear a hat or use a spray formula). Also be sure to reapply every few hours to avoid getting burnt. If you do end up getting a burn, be sure to stay moisturized to avoid peeling.
